Systems Support Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience supporting or working with business applications such as ERP, WMS, or operational systems</li><li>Practical experience is valued as much as technical proficiency</li><li>Background in a functional subject matter or be a key user in a warehousing, supply chain, or manufacturing environment</li><li>Understanding of ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Business Central, Oracle, etc. is advantageous</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing systems</li><li>Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Ability to build and develop strong relationships</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Act as a primary support contact for core business applications, taking ownership of issues through investigation, resolution, and prevention</li><li>Support our ERP platform (SAP Business ByDesign), including configuration assistance, data validation, reporting, permissions, and incident investigation</li><li>Support the SNAP Warehouse Management System (WMS), including integration, access management, data accuracy, and operational issue resolution</li><li>Maintain and support Markem labelling systems, ensuring uptime, accuracy, and alignment with production workflows</li><li>Provide hands-on, customer-facing business support of critical systems</li><li>Support the operational use of scanners, printers, and labelling devices within integrated WMS and production environments</li><li>Work with third-party vendors and colleagues to resolve system and integration issues effectively</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve system usage, data flows, reliability, and user experience</li><li>Assist with configuration changes, testing, documentation, and user guidance</li><li>Contribute to improving how issues are prevented, not just resolved</li><li>Participate in systems and applications improvement projects, including upgrades and new site or shop floor implementations</li><li>Build practical experience that supports progression into systems, applications, or platform-focused roles</li></ul>

We are an IT team of 7 supporting 400+ colleagues, focusing on ensuring critical platforms are reliable, accurate, and continuously improving. This role involves onsite/hybrid working, with regular site travel required.
