Senior Backend Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>5 years experience as a Software / Back End Engineer</li><li>Strong experience with C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs</li><li>Solid background working with CMS platforms (Umbraco, Sitecore, or similar)</li><li>Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript; React experience a plus)</li><li>Exposure to Azure, cloud-hosted infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices</li><li>Confident communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring others</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Designing, building, and maintaining web applications using C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API</li><li>Building and integrating CMS-driven solutions (e.g. Umbraco, Sitecore or similar)</li><li>Providing technical leadership within your team, including code reviews and mentoring</li><li>Supporting platform modernisation, including adoption of .NET Core, Azure, and modern front-end frameworks</li><li>Collaborating with Product, UX, Strategy, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions</li><li>Championing best practices around accessibility, performance, security, and maintainability</li></ul>
