Software Engineer - SC Clearance
<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline with relevant experience or Masters in STEM with relevant experience</li><li>Ability to thrive as both a leader and a technical contributor</li><li>Experience leading briefs and providing solutions to decision-makers</li><li>Proven project or team leadership experience in complex, high-pressure environments</li><li>Operations or systems/software engineering experience (preferred)</li><li>Linux OS and scripting skills (Python, Perl) (preferred)</li><li>Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira) (preferred)</li><li>Experience in geographically distributed teams (preferred)</li><li>Knowledge of Flask Web Framework or Jupyter Notebooks (preferred)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Monitor system and subsystem performance, preparing regular status reports</li><li>Investigate and respond to anomalous system behavior</li><li>Implement performance improvements via scripting and procedure updates</li><li>Assist in developing standard operating procedures and redundancy management documentation</li><li>Support system reconfiguration and non-routine operations</li><li>Monitor equipment health to maintain the highest level of mission readiness</li><li>Undertake core skills training and follow-on advanced development</li><li>Work a non-traditional schedule, including occasional 12-hour shifts and weekends</li></ul>
