Technical Support Engineer

<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Previous experience in a technical support or field engineering role</li><li>Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Good knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and networking</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills</li><li>Strong organisational and documentation skills</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li><li>Experience with networking equipment such as routers, switches, and Wi-Fi (desirable)</li><li>Knowledge of telecoms, VoIP, broadband, or fibre services (desirable)</li><li>Relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience (desirable)</li><li>Experience working to SLAs and using ticketing systems (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Provide on-site technical support, diagnostics, and fault resolution for customer systems and equipment</li><li>Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure</li><li>Respond to service requests and incidents</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, escalating where necessary</li><li>Carry out preventative maintenance and system health checks</li><li>Accurately document work completed, including reports and service notes</li><li>Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures while working on-site</li><li>Work independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams</li></ul>
