Linux Systems Administrator

<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience in a similar systems administration role</li><li>Knowledge of Linux solutions</li><li>Familiarity with virtualisation technologies</li><li>Understanding of Microsoft applications (e.g. MS365)</li><li>Experience with desktop/server hardware</li><li>Knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, VPN, etc.)</li><li>Understanding of general networking (switches, routers, etc.)</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Passion for learning new technologies</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Act as an escalation point for technical issues</li><li>Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to the Linux environment</li><li>Provide systems administration and support for Linux, including both physical and virtual services</li><li>Manage and support Linux solutions on-premise and in cloud environments</li><li>Oversee day-to-day management of Linux systems (e.g. patching)</li><li>Play a key role in ongoing projects, including implementing and replacing solutions</li></ul>
