Principal Software Engineer - AI & Innovation
<p><b>Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Significant experience in a senior software engineering position</li><li>Proven experience delivering innovative AI solutions</li><li>Practical knowledge of AI, including building and training LLMs</li><li>Strong understanding of Microservices and modern web architectures</li><li>Deep expertise in programming languages and frameworks such as Java and Spring Boot</li><li>Extensive experience designing large-scale systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture and services</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset</li><li>Experience mentoring and guiding technical teams to deliver</li><li>Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (desirable)</li><li>Knowledge of secure-by-design development and security best practices (desirable)</li><li>Contributions to open-source projects (desirable)</li></ul>

<ul><li>Build innovative MVPs to validate ideas and accelerate learning</li><li>Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software systems</li><li>Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams</li><li>Evaluate, experiment, and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools</li><li>Mentor and coach engineers to create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement</li><li>Oversee code reviews and ensure delivery of high-quality maintainable software</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges</li><li>Contribute to strategic planning and align technology decisions with business goals</li></ul>
