Validation Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience with respect to Computer Systems Validation or higher education qualification in computer science or related subject</li><li>Understanding of IT Infrastructure and Networks</li><li>Knowledge of IT Qualification activities</li><li>Familiarity with Electronic Records and Electronic Signatures, e.g. USA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Guidelines, Chapter 4, Annex 11 and GAMP 5</li><li>Understanding of Quality Management role within an IT Organisation</li><li>Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)</li><li>Ability to create and execute project work plans</li><li>Understanding of databases (e.g., Access) and spreadsheets</li><li>Ability to write/review code is extremely beneficial</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Assist in the coordination of computer systems validation projects</li><li>Work with relevant Change Owner for all GxP IT systems, focusing on risk identification and mitigation</li><li>Prepare and execute CSV deliverables, including validation protocols, reports, and periodic reviews</li><li>Provide system support and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for quality deviations</li><li>Author SOPs and Work Instructions for software systems operation, maintenance, and compliance</li><li>Collaborate with IT staff and Process Owners to ensure compliance of IT and software systems</li><li>Ensure proper CSV procedures during system implementations</li><li>Provide CSV support for new software projects throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Validate planning and support CSV during internal and external audits</li><li>Collaborate with the Validation department to align CSV compliance processes with site validation policies</li><li>Research and propose new technologies for implementation</li><li>Comply with policies related to data privacy or information security</li></ul>

<p>We are seeking a Validation Engineer to join our team in Runcorn, where youll work fully on-site. In this role, you will coordinate computer systems validation projects, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet critical business and regulatory requirements. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £40k to £50k, along with a 10% annual bonus, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, extended maternity and paternity leave, and a health plan.</p>
