Network Security Architect
<p><b>Salary: £130,000 - 140,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong foundation in application architecture (patterns, standards, designs)</li><li>Software development background with deep network security knowledge</li><li>Proven experience blending application and network security architecture</li><li>Experience in financial services or other regulated industries</li><li>Ability to produce high-quality architectural documentation</li><li>Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies</li><li>Familiarity with NIST, SANS, ITU frameworks</li><li>Experience in threat modelling, risk assessment, and audit engagement</li><li>Technical areas youll influence: Application security & secure SDLC, Network/app segmentation & micro-segmentation, Zone-based architectures and secure legacy migration, WAAP, NGFW, NIDS/NIPS, DDoS protection, API gateways, reverse proxies, AuthN/AuthZ, Architecture modelling tools (BizzDesign, Archi, UML)</li><li>Working across hybrid legacy and modern networking landscapes</li><li>Preferred qualifications: Degrees in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, Architecture certifications such as SABSA or TOGAF, Security certifications (e.g., CEH)</li></ul>

<ul><li>Leading the design of secure, scalable application and network architectures</li><li>Owning reference patterns that drive best practice across the organisation</li><li>Defining segmentation strategies, security controls, and migration pathways</li><li>Presenting and defending designs at senior architecture forums</li><li>Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, robustness, and delivery success</li><li>Providing technical thought leadership across multiple programmes</li><li>Strengthening the organisations security posture across both modern and legacy estates</li></ul>
