3rd Line Support Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience working in a data centre or managed service provider environment is an advantage</li><li>Strong Wintel administration experience</li><li>Solid VMware experience (build, operate, troubleshoot)</li><li>General understanding of enterprise storage and networking concepts</li><li>Familiarity with firewalling concepts (Fortinet preferred)</li><li>Exposure to Fortinet firewalls (desirable)</li><li>Experience supporting customer-owned infrastructure in shared environments (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Deal with escalations from 2nd line support</li><li>Operate and support Wintel platforms in a hosted/managed services environment</li><li>Build, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware-based virtual infrastructure</li><li>Support general storage platforms and data-centre networking</li><li>Work alongside network and security teams to support firewalling and connectivity</li><li>Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes</li><li>Support onboarding and adoption of customer infrastructure into service</li><li>Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational standards</li></ul>
