Software Engineer in Test
<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 65,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong automation testing experience, ideally including mobile applications</li><li>Experience building and maintaining automated test suites (Appium or similar tools)</li><li>Experience testing both front-end and back-end systems</li><li>API testing knowledge (e.g. Postman or similar tools)</li><li>Ability to translate requirements and user stories into meaningful test coverage</li><li>Experience working closely with Developers and Product teams in Agile environments</li></ul>

<ul><li>Shape how quality is delivered across the customer-facing mobile platform</li><li>Take ownership of test automation within the squad</li><li>Build and maintain mobile automation tests</li><li>Help embed quality-focused engineering practices within the team</li><li>Improve tooling, processes and overall test coverage as the platform grows</li><li>Collaborate with Engineers, Product, and Design teams to deliver improvements and new features</li><li>Act as the quality champion for the team</li><li>Contribute to broader automation and quality initiatives</li></ul>

<p>We are a growing product-led Tech for Good organization based in Edinburgh, looking for a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our mobile product squad. This is an exciting time to join as we have several projects underway that offer real ownership and influence over our approach to quality and automation. Our environment fosters collaboration, continuous improvement, and a build it, run it mindset. We support hybrid working with an expectation of being onsite around three days a week for team collaboration. We offer a competitive salary between £45k-£65k, a 35-hour working week, private healthcare, a 15% pension, an annual bonus, and 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays.</p>
