Enterprise Architecture Project Manager
<p><b>Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>5 years experience in technical project management, delivery management, or similar roles</li><li>Strong background in Microsoft-centric environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID)</li><li>Experience working within or alongside enterprise architecture, governance, or technology assurance functions</li><li>Proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-domain technology initiatives</li><li>Excellent organisational and documentation skills</li><li>Confident communicator with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively</li><li>Comfortable working in evolving or less mature governance environments</li><li>Proactive, pragmatic, and highly organised approach</li><li>Able to understand technology requests without needing deep specialist expertise</li><li>Desirable (Nice to Have):</li><li>Background in Business Analysis or hybrid PM/BA roles</li><li>Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)</li><li>Experience working in large, complex enterprise organisations</li><li>Exposure to architecture governance boards or review forums</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Support technology initiatives once they enter the Enterprise Architecture function, regardless of origin</li><li>Help shape and clarify requests, ensuring objectives, scope, and outcomes are clearly understood</li><li>Engage with delivery teams and stakeholders to gather context and confirm requirements</li><li>Support conversations that focus on underlying business and technical needs rather than pre-selected solutions</li><li>Coordinate architecture reviews, workshops, and governance forums</li><li>Maintain visibility of architecture decisions, actions, and follow-ups</li><li>Track progress of initiatives through agreed EA governance processes</li><li>Ensure architecture work is structured, prioritised, and effectively supported</li><li>Apply broad technical understanding across applications, infrastructure, platforms, and data</li><li>Identify overlaps with existing technology capabilities or ongoing initiatives</li><li>Support constructive challenge and informed decision-making</li><li>Prepare well-framed documentation and briefing packs for senior architecture stakeholders</li><li>Maintain architecture registers, inventories, and supporting documentation</li><li>Support capture of architecture standards, principles, and reference materials</li><li>Produce clear, structured documentation to support governance and review outcomes</li><li>Ensure information is accurate, up to date, and accessible to varied audiences</li><li>Build strong working relationships with architects, project teams, service owners, and business stakeholders</li><li>Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Communicate confidently with senior leaders and delivery teams alike</li></ul>
