Azure Cloud Consultant - Security
<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong hands-on experience working within Microsoft Azure environments</li><li>Proven experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud</li><li>Experience using Prisma Cloud (Palo Alto)</li><li>Solid background in cloud security architecture, security controls, and control validation</li><li>Ability to operate effectively in project-driven, fast-paced cloud migration environments</li><li>Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms (desirable)</li><li>Exposure to, or strong interest in, AI security, AI agents, or AI-enabled services (desirable)</li><li>Consulting or advisory experience, working alongside engineering and delivery teams (desirable)</li></ul>

<ul><li>Assess existing Azure environments and identify required cloud security controls</li><li>Design, implement, and validate security controls across cloud platforms</li><li>Test and assure the effectiveness of security controls against best practice and compliance requirements</li><li>Provide pragmatic guidance on cloud security frameworks, tooling, and continuous improvement</li><li>Work closely with technical and delivery teams to embed security into cloud adoption</li><li>Support emerging areas such as AI agents and AI-enabled workloads, helping teams navigate new security considerations</li></ul>

<p>We are seeking an Azure Cloud Consultant (Security) for a contract role based in Ipswich, where you will work 3 days a week on-site and 2 days remotely. In this hands-on, advisory position, you will collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure the integration of cloud security best practices. This role offers the opportunity to significantly influence cloud security outcomes and work on high-impact transformation programmes within modern cloud platforms and emerging AI-driven workloads.</p>
