Lead AI Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with modern cloud data and AI platforms, including AI agent tooling, analytics platforms, and semantic layers</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to translate complex requirements to the board and senior team members</li><li>Proven ability to design analytics-ready data models and metrics layers</li><li>Practical experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures</li><li>Proficiency in Python (data manipulation, API interaction) and SQL data modelling</li><li>Experience working with REST APIs and integrating multiple business systems</li><li>Ability to clearly explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate feedback into production-quality solutions</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design, build, and deploy low-code and pro-code AI agents to automate business workflows (e.g. HR queries, IT support, operational data retrieval)</li><li>Develop custom Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to enable large language models to reason over proprietary documents and data</li><li>Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems (e.g. CRM, collaboration tools, operational platforms) via APIs and automation connectors</li><li>Own the creation and maintenance of AI semantic workspaces, translating complex database schemas into business-friendly models</li><li>Define and govern standard metrics, dimensions, and synonyms to ensure AI systems speak the language of the business</li><li>Continuously monitor AI answer quality, using human feedback to refine semantic models and improve accuracy over time</li><li>Partner with business stakeholders across finance, operations, and commercial teams to translate high-level use cases into technical requirements</li><li>Rapidly prototype AI solutions to demonstrate value and accelerate adoption</li><li>Act as a technical evangelist, enabling non-technical users to interact effectively with AI tools and insights</li><li>Implement monitoring frameworks to track cost, latency, and quality of AI outputs</li><li>Ensure AI solutions comply with organisational data governance and security standards, including preventing data leakage via LLMs</li><li>Manage the full lifecycle of AI models and agents from development through production and retirement</li></ul>
