<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>8-12+ years designing digital products across zero-to-one builds and scaling products</li><li>Strong product judgement in ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces</li><li>Proven experience creating and maintaining design systems from scratch</li><li>A craft-led designer with obsessive attention to detail and consistency</li><li>Highly fluent in Figma (or equivalent), with a bias toward clean, functional design</li><li>Confident collaborating cross-functionally with senior stakeholders</li><li>Strong understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines and best practices</li><li>Experience in financial services / wealth / complex regulated environments is a plus (but not required)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Own the end-to-end design vision for a new digital banking product suite, from concept to scale</li><li>Build a deep understanding of client needs and translate it into product strategy and experience decisions</li><li>Design intuitive, elegant and secure experiences for high-value clients and complex workflows</li><li>Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that communicate clearly and inspire confidence</li><li>Establish and evolve a design system, including patterns and reusable components</li><li>Run usability testing, validate assumptions quickly, and iterate with speed and precision</li><li>Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure quality from discovery through delivery</li><li>Influence stakeholders through strong storytelling, craft, and clarity</li><li>Lay the foundations for a world-class design function as the team grows</li></ul>

<p>We are a family-owned bank looking to build a next-generation digital banking platform for high-net-worth and institutional clients from scratch. This greenfield product is developed within a high-performing, well-capitalized private banking group that values a long-term mindset. Our goal is to design category-defining products in an innovative space. We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 plus a bonus of 15-20%. As the first Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end experience and establish systems and standards, enjoying real ownership and influence over product direction in a quality-first environment focused on trust and stability.</p>
