Senior Cloud Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £90,000 - 110,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in AWS environments.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, and Terraform.</li><li>Familiarity with AWS security services and best practices for securing AWS environments.</li><li>Proficiency in automation tools like AWS CLI and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) for efficient management of AWS resources.</li><li>Understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services on the Azure and AWS Cloud Platforms.</li><li>Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.</li><li>Respond to incidents related to AWS and Azure resources and conduct root cause analysis.</li><li>Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues.</li><li>Configure and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch/Azure Monitor) to track resource utilization and application performance.</li><li>Generate alerts for potential issues and address them promptly.</li></ul>
