IT Service Desk Support - Temporary
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience in a Service Desk / 1st Line Support environment</li><li>Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11</li><li>Experience with laptop builds or deployment activity - exposure to Intune/Autopilot is beneficial</li><li>Excellent communication, triage, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience within public sector, regulated, or security-conscious environments is highly advantageous</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for all IT service desk queries, logging and triaging tickets in line with SLAs</li><li>Provide first-line support for day-to-day issues including password resets, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic hardware/software troubleshooting</li><li>Assist with the preparation, build, and deployment of laptops as part of a major refresh programme</li><li>Escalate incidents appropriately to the IT Operations Manager</li><li>Support joiners, movers, and leavers with account setup, equipment management, and permissions changes</li><li>Maintain accurate ticket updates and asset information</li></ul>

This temporary role presents opportunities for hybrid working and requires a regular presence in our Sheffield City Centre office. You will join a small, supportive team during a high-demand period, playing a key role in providing first-line IT support. We offer a competitive hourly rate and support from a dedicated consultant throughout your assignment.
