PLM Developer
<p><b>Salary: £35,000 - 75,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Must be sole UK national</li><li>Proficiency in Teamcenter ITK (C/C++), SOA, RAC (Java), and AWC (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular)</li><li>Strong knowledge of BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE) for data model customization and configuration</li><li>Experience with Teamcenter workflows, handlers, and extensions</li><li>Hands-on experience with custom reports, ACLs, groups, and role-based access control</li><li>Working knowledge of Teamcenter CAD integrations (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks)</li><li>Good understanding of Teamcenter architecture (4-tier, 2-tier, thin client)</li><li>Familiarity with database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server) and PL/SQL scripting</li><li>Experience with Deployment Center (DCP), environment setup, and patch management</li><li>Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services, XML/XSLT, and integration frameworks</li><li>Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN) and build tools (Ant, Maven)</li><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)</li><li>Experience with Teamcenter Unified Architecture (UA) and Active Workspace 5.x or higher (preferred)</li><li>Exposure to DevOps pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) (preferred)</li><li>Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, or Batch) for automation (preferred)</li><li>Understanding of Agile development methodologies (preferred)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design, develop, and implement customized solutions in Siemens Teamcenter</li><li>Collaborate closely with business users, business analysts, architects, and engineering teams</li><li>Develop, configure, and customize Teamcenter components including RAC, AWC, BMIDE, ITK, SOA, and Workflow</li><li>Design and implement data models, business objects, and classification structures within Teamcenter</li><li>Work on core Teamcenter modules such as PDM, Change Management, BOM Management, Document Management, and Workflow Design</li><li>Develop custom extensions and integrations using ITK (C/C++), SOA, Java, JavaScript, and XML</li><li>Customize and deploy Active Workspace Client (AWC) UI extensions, stylesheets, and configuration files</li><li>Create and modify BMIDE templates, business rules, properties, and data model extensions</li><li>Integrate Teamcenter with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) and other CAD tools</li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in Teamcenter configurations and customizations</li><li>Manage Teamcenter deployments, environment setup, and upgrades in collaboration with infrastructure teams</li><li>Prepare technical documentation including design specs, configuration guides, and release notes</li><li>Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and testing to ensure solution quality and maintainability</li><li>Support production and post-deployment stabilization activities</li></ul>
