SAS Data Engineer

<p><b>Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Minimum 5 years experience as a data engineer or similar role</li><li>Strong background as a Data Engineer on complex, large-scale data platforms</li><li>Proven expertise with SAS 9.x (SAS Viya (3.x / 4) is a bonus)</li><li>Solid ETL, data modelling and batch scheduling experience</li><li>Understanding of performance optimisation, CI/CD and scalable solution design</li><li>Confident client-facing and consultancy skills</li><li>Security Clearance: This role requires SC clearance, or eligibility to obtain it. Applicants must have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Designing and delivering secure, high-performance SAS solutions for data integration and analytics</li><li>Building and enhancing data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, reporting and fraud detection</li><li>Supporting live services, incident resolution and continuous improvement</li><li>Collaborating in Agile delivery teams and contributing to engineering best practice</li></ul>
