Data and Integration Solution Architect
<p><b>Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience designing and implementing integration solutions (APIs, ETL, microservices, ESBs) in complex enterprise environments.</li><li>Hands-on expertise with middleware or iPaaS platforms.</li><li>Strong programming skills (Java, C#, Python or similar), with a solid understanding of JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP.</li><li>Experience architecting and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse/schema design.</li><li>Skilled in Power BI (dataset design, modelling, report/dashboard delivery).</li><li>Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and performance tuning.</li><li>Excellent communication skills able to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design and implement robust integration solutions (APIs, ETL, microservices, ESBs) and develop reusable patterns and frameworks for secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange.</li><li>Select, configure, and manage middleware/iPaaS platforms, optimizing performance, availability, and security.</li><li>Define data architectures, schemas, and ETL pipelines, embedding governance, quality, security, and lifecycle management.</li><li>Collaborate with business teams to deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports, designing optimized datasets for data-driven decisions.</li><li>Work with internal teams and vendors to align integration strategy with business goals and produce robust documentation and best-practice standards.</li><li>Mentor junior colleagues and have the potential to line manage and grow a small team as the function develops.</li></ul>
