Electronic Security Technical Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Demonstrable knowledge of CCTV installation</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge of commissioning CCTV systems</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge of structured cabling systems</li><li>Previously verifiable experience working in the electronic securities sector</li><li>Understanding of the interfacing requirements between CCTV systems and a buildings Access Control, Intelligence, building management and life safety systems</li><li>Working knowledge of current and prevalent CCTV standards</li><li>A professional, well-presented appearance</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Superior customer service skills, with a commitment to maintaining the organizations reputation</li><li>Experience with electrical installations and maintenance</li><li>Valid UK Drivers Licence</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Survey client sites and establish direct liaisons with clients</li><li>Create detailed reports and ensure successful installation, maintenance, and support of CCTV & Access Control Systems</li><li>Attend site for Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance, Client Support, and training as required</li><li>Provide technical support for CCTV VMS Systems, including diagnosis and resolution of hardware/software faults</li><li>Provide technical support for Access Control Systems, including Genetec, Gallagher, Lenel, CCure</li><li>Conduct preventative maintenance and fault calls for all CCTV systems</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and firmware upgrades for all CCTV cameras</li><li>Actively conduct site surveys and create comprehensive reports</li><li>Interpret and understand proposal documents, schematics, and drawings</li><li>Interface with other systems and sub-contractors, including Access Control, Building Intelligence, Fire and Intruder alarm services, and other life safety systems</li><li>Install and test structured cabling systems</li><li>Work at heights when necessary for system installation and maintenance</li><li>Provide regular reporting to the Head Office</li><li>Provide technical and sales support in client meetings and new system design, often integrating Security Systems with IT networks</li></ul>
