Presales Solution Architect
<p><b>Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>2-5 years experience as a Presales Solutions Architect (or similar) in customer-facing roles during the sales cycle</li><li>Background in technical pre-sales support in Managed WAN/LAN Services, preferably with Cisco, Extreme, or Fortinet technologies</li><li>Proven experience in network design, bespoke customer solutions, and professional documentation</li><li>Expertise in WAN technologies: Leased Lines, Carrier Ethernet, EFM, xDSL</li><li>Knowledge of LAN architecture across DC, core, aggregation, and access layers</li><li>Up-to-date skills in SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and network virtualization</li><li>Understanding of Wi-Fi technologies: CAPWAP, WPA, 802.1X, mesh and controllers</li><li>Strong communication skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Partner with Sales & Account teams to understand customer needs and facilitate meetings and reviews</li><li>Design tailored LAN & WAN solutions that align with our product offerings</li><li>Provide support to customers throughout the process with clear and straightforward guidance</li><li>Produce professional documentation such as Statements of Work (SOWs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), and schematics</li><li>Collaborate across teams including Sales, Service Delivery, and Account Management to drive new business and support existing customers</li><li>Track and manage activity within our CRM system and contribute to a pipeline exceeding £1m Gross Margin annually</li><li>Optimize solutions for profitability, reliability, and sustained value</li></ul>
