Lead Salesforce Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £42,000 - 82,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong leadership and teamwork skills</li><li>Proven and demonstrable engineering capability</li><li>Strong hands-on development experience with Apex, including triggers, asynchronous processing, and integrations</li><li>Awareness of Salesforce security principles and secure-by-design implementation</li><li>Experience working within an agile development methodology</li><li>Experience with test automation, including unit testing and behaviour-driven development</li><li>Excellent time and self-management through effective planning and prioritisation</li><li>Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)</li><li>One or more advanced Salesforce certifications highly desirable</li><li>Deep experience across the Salesforce platform, including Apex development, Lightning Web Components, and Flows</li><li>Proven track record of working with Salesforce as part of a wider integrated IT estate</li><li>Strong understanding of Salesforce security management and data management</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design, build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using agile and DevOps practices</li><li>Develop robust, scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Salesforce configuration</li><li>Build, configure, and support routes to production through automated Salesforce CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and aligned with platform and regulatory best practices</li><li>Improve the reliability, quality, and maintainability of Salesforce-based solutions across the enterprise</li><li>Provide technical leadership across dependencies where Salesforce is integrated with multiple legacy systems</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot Salesforce environments, implementing monitoring, logging, and proactive issue resolution</li><li>Coach and develop engineering capability within the Salesforce team</li></ul>
