<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Masters or PhD level degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Expert skills in Python and C++</li><li>Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and test design</li><li>Strong understanding of AI frameworks such as PyTorch, Triton, and vLLM</li><li>Applied knowledge in Natural Language Processing, Vision, Audio, and Recommendation Systems</li><li>Strong experience with GPU Programming models (CUDA, HIP)</li><li>Expert with modern software practices and tooling (e.g., debuggers, profilers, GitHub)</li><li>Effective communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Senior professional experience in technical software development, focusing on GPU optimization and performance engineering</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead the development and optimization of Deep Learning models on AMD GPUs</li><li>Enhance PyTorch and its ecosystems on AMD GPUs with performance improvements</li><li>Collaborate with PyTorch maintainers to align on requirements and propose enhancements</li><li>Work with community partners to enable and upstream new features related to AMD GPUs</li><li>Identify performance bottlenecks by partnering with internal GPU Libraries and runtime teams</li><li>Develop innovative solutions for multi-GPU and multi-node distributed training environments</li><li>Apply rigorous software engineering best practices including code review, testing, and CI/CD integration</li></ul>
