Solutions Architect
<p><b>Salary: £32,000 - 72,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience in creating architectural designs for business solutions including integrations and automation.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns, and software development methodologies.</li><li>Experience and technical knowledge of Boomi or similar integration systems.</li><li>Experience on Azure or other cloud-based platforms including AI services.</li><li>PowerPlatform / PowerApps / PowerAutomate experience.</li><li>IT Service experience (ideally ITIL exposure).</li><li>Ability to create high-level and low-level technical designs to meet business requirements.</li><li>Understanding of development principles and lifecycles relating to business applications and data management systems.</li><li>Good understanding of business processes and ERP / supporting systems including WMS & APS (Advanced Planning System).</li><li>FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing background (nice to have).</li><li>Experience in AI solution design and deployment (nice to have).</li><li>Intermediate SQL language experience; scripting / development language skills (nice to have).</li><li>Experience or knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL) and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (nice to have).</li><li>SOX exposure or experience (nice to have).</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Define, design, and implement innovative technology solutions to achieve specific business objectives.</li><li>Collaborate with a diverse range of colleagues, including business stakeholders, developers, and systems administrators.</li><li>Develop scalable, reliable, and secure solution designs in alignment with Weetabixs strategic goals.</li><li>Design solutions to automate processes for improved efficiency and data-driven decisions.</li><li>Identify risks in designs and propose mitigation strategies.</li><li>Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams and specifications.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, including AI, to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.</li><li>Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Ensure solutions meet security and regulatory requirements, participating in audits.</li><li>Provide technical guidance to development teams and review designs for compliance with standards.</li><li>Participate in architectural forums within the organization.</li><li>Leverage core systems like PowerPlatform and Boomi in solution designs for scalability.</li><li>Design systems with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery capabilities, including testing protocols.</li></ul>
