Network Engineer - SC Cleared
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Minimum 3 years industry experience focused on network design and troubleshooting</li><li>Proven expertise with core network technologies and infrastructure</li><li>In-depth knowledge of hierarchical IP subnetting, BGP, OSPF routing protocols</li><li>Advanced experience with Cisco Nexus, IOS XE, VXLAN overlay networks, and dual cloud solutions</li><li>Experience in firewall management including IPS/IDS</li><li>Valid SC security clearance</li><li>Competent in MS Office Suite</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Analytical thinking</li><li>Experience working within the defence or public sector</li><li>Computer Science degree or equivalent; Chartered Engineer status is a bonus</li><li></li></ul>

<ul><li>Support the core physical and virtual networking components for the NSoIT(D) Platform</li><li>Design, develop, build, and validate networking solutions</li><li>Produce detailed design artefacts</li><li>Collaborate closely with the wider technical team to support system testing</li><li>Resolve issues within the network infrastructure</li><li></li></ul>

<p>We are currently helping a leading client in the defence sector find an experienced SC Cleared Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based in Corsham, Wiltshire, or Portsmouth, Hampshire, this role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern of 2 to 3 days per week onsite. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring a secure, resilient, and efficient infrastructure for defence applications. This is a two-year contract opportunity starting in April 2026, offering a negotiable day rate (inside IR35).
