Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £36,000 - 50,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Minimum of 3 years proven experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting VMware virtualisation solutions</li><li>In-depth knowledge of VMware ESXi, Distributed Virtual Switches, vSAN, vCenter, NSX, and Horizon with AppVolumes and AppStacks</li><li>At least one recent professional Virtualisation certification, e.g., VMware VCP or similar</li><li>Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems effectively</li><li>Valid SC Security Clearance</li><li>Competency in MS Office Suite</li><li>Public sector or Defence environment experience (desirable)</li><li>Familiarity with Agile (SAFE4) and Waterfall project methodologies (desirable)</li><li>Large-scale virtualisation infrastructure experience (desirable)</li><li>Knowledge of networking certifications such as CCNA or VMware NSX-DC (desirable)</li><li>Educational backgrounds in Computer Science or comparable fields (Bachelors or Masters)</li><li>Experience developing secure architectures in multi-tenanted environments (desirable)</li><li>Chartered Engineer status is an advantage (desirable)</li></ul>

<ul><li>Designing, developing, and validating virtualisation components such as VMware ESXi, vSAN, vCenter, NSX, and Horizon</li><li>Producing detailed design artefacts and supporting system testing</li><li>Collaborating with Service Management to troubleshoot and resolve virtualisation issues</li><li>Supporting system resilience, cross-site failure measures, and high availability configurations</li></ul>

This role is based in Corsham, Wiltshire, or Portsmouth, Hampshire, with hybrid working options available.
