Application Support Analyst
<p><b>Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience supporting or working with business applications such as ERP, WMS, or operational systems.</li><li>Background in a functional subject matter, or be a key user in a warehousing, supply chain, or manufacturing environment.</li><li>Understanding of ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Business Central, Oracle, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing systems is advantageous.</li><li>Clear communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building and developing strong relationships.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Act as a primary support contact for core business applications, taking ownership of issues through investigation, resolution, and prevention.</li><li>Support our ERP platform (SAP Business ByDesign) including configuration assistance, data validation, reporting, permissions, and incident investigation.</li><li>Support the SNAP Warehouse Management System (WMS), including integration, access management, data accuracy, and operational issue resolution.</li><li>Maintain and support Markem labelling systems ensuring uptime, accuracy, and alignment with production workflows.</li><li>Support the operational use of scanners, printers, and labelling devices as part of integrated WMS and production environments.</li><li>Work with third-party vendors and colleagues to resolve system and integration issues effectively.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve system usage, data flows, reliability, and user experience.</li><li>Assist with configuration changes, testing, documentation, and user guidance.</li><li>Contribute to improving how issues are prevented, not just resolved.</li><li>Participate in systems and applications improvement projects including upgrades, integrations, reporting enhancements, and new site or shop floor implementations.</li><li>Gain hands-on exposure to live manufacturing systems and operational challenges.</li><li>Provide hands-on business support to help colleagues understand and adopt new systems and ways of working.</li><li>Build practical experience that supports progression into systems, applications, or platform-focused roles.</li></ul>
