Senior Automation Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience</li><li>5 years of relevant software experience</li><li>3 years of relevant automated testing experience</li><li>Strong experience with Python or other scripting languages</li><li>Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns</li><li>Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies</li><li>Strong experience with at least one automation testing tool and best practices</li><li>Strong understanding of Continuous Delivery and Agile development</li><li>Proficiency with tools supporting the software development lifecycle, such as source control, CI/CD platforms, requirements management, and defect tracking</li><li>Desirable: Experience with Qt/QML</li><li>Experience with embedded Linux application development</li><li>Experience with Squish automation</li><li>Experience with Selenium</li><li>Experience working in a regulated development environment (finance, medical, defense, aerospace, etc.)</li><li>Experience with the development of integrated (hardware and software) medical devices</li><li>Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)</li><li>Experience with containerized environments and virtual machines</li><li>Experience of effective collaboration with international teams in Europe, India, and the US</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Work with the test automation team to review and derive required automation tests from requirements related to the patient monitoring platform</li><li>Participate in cross-functional reviews of software requirements, architecture, software design, connectivity interface design and user interface design</li><li>Participate in the test automation component design efforts</li><li>Understand and design to existing interface specifications</li><li>Write, debug, review and document test automation software</li><li>Participate in the definition of test architectures, designs, tools and workflows to be shared with the test automation team members</li><li>Ensure on-time delivery of test automation software including design documentation and other required artifacts</li><li>Hold yourself and other engineers to high standards while maintaining friendly, respectful relationships</li><li>Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Companys Code of Ethics and Conduct</li><li>Uphold the companys core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork</li></ul>
