Senior Cloud Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>24/7 on-call L2/L3 support experience</li><li>Experience with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring tools for troubleshooting and insight gathering</li><li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)</li><li>Strong experience with Terraform or similar IaC tooling</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Manage and optimise Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability</li><li>Provide L2/L3 support for incidents, troubleshooting cloud-related issues</li><li>Lead Kubernetes cluster operations and support containerised workloads</li><li>Maintain and enhance Terraform Infrastructure as Code modules</li><li>Participate in CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions or similar tooling</li><li>Analyse observability data to produce insights and recommendations</li><li>Ensure effective monitoring using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or Splunk</li><li>Drive automation across cloud operations following SRE and DevOps principles</li><li>Support junior engineers through mentoring and knowledge sharing</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement platform improvements</li><li>Maintain clear documentation for procedures, configuration and operational readiness</li></ul>
