Satellite Software Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Experience building distributed systems with cloud technologies</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills</li><li>Enjoys working with customers to find creative, practical solutions</li><li>Curious, innovative, and genuinely excited about emerging technologies</li><li>Experience with delay-tolerant networking standards (e.g. CCSDS/IETF BPv7, BPSec) (nice-to-have)</li><li>Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and CNCF technologies (nice-to-have)</li><li>Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS (nice-to-have)</li><li>Experience writing tutorials, documentation, or technical blog posts (nice-to-have)</li></ul>

<ul><li>Building and maintaining delay-tolerant networking products, platforms, and APIs using Rust, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers</li><li>Working on scalable and distributed systems using Kubernetes</li><li>Debugging, optimizing, and improving systems for full-scale production environments</li><li>Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing features</li><li>Creating technical guides, tutorials, and documentation for teams and customers</li><li>Supporting new customer onboarding and ensuring smooth system integration</li><li>Keeping up with the latest advancements in networking and cloud technologies</li></ul>
