Linux Systems Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Experience in operations, systems, or software engineering</li><li>Linux experience and scripting (Python and/or Perl)</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills in complex environments</li><li>Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence</li><li>Valid UKIC DV Clearance (required)</li><li>Desirable: Flask, Jupyter Notebooks</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Monitor system and subsystem performance and produce status reports</li><li>Investigate and respond to anomalous system behaviour</li><li>Implement system performance improvements (scripting, SOP updates)</li><li>Support system reconfiguration and special operations activities</li><li>Maintain equipment health to ensure high mission readiness</li><li>Contribute to operational documentation and redundancy planning</li><li>Participate in ongoing technical training and development</li></ul>

<p>We are looking to recruit a Linux Systems Engineer for our global organisation. Working in our Operations & Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for supporting critical systems within a highly secure, technology-driven environment. Youll play a key part in monitoring, maintaining, and optimising complex systems that support national-level programmes. This is a hybrid role based out of Harrogate, with flexible working options available. We offer a competitive salary between £60,000 - £80,000 along with various benefits.</p>
