Senior Software Engineer (SC Cleared)
<p><b>Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong problem-solving and engineering skills with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.</li><li>Experience in C++ or Java programming on Linux or Windows platforms.</li><li>Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.</li><li>Knowledge of coding standards, change control, and configuration management systems.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in diverse teams and with stakeholders.</li><li>Desirable: Experience in defence or related sectors.</li><li>Desirable: Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and Data Distribution Service (DDS).</li><li>Desirable: Java GUI programming experience.</li><li>Desirable: Familiarity with Agile practices such as Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, BDD.</li><li>Desirable: Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket.</li><li>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.</li><li>Extensive software development experience in complex systems.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Supporting the maintenance and development of new systems to enhance maritime test and evaluation capabilities.</li><li>Designing, developing, integrating, testing, and delivering complex real-time software solutions.</li><li>Leading technical tasks and collaborating effectively with stakeholders, colleagues, and customers.</li><li>Ensuring coding standards are maintained through code reviews and static analysis.</li><li>Managing change control and configuration management processes.</li></ul>
