Data Architect
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a Data Architect, having previously shaped or matured an organisations data landscape.</li><li>Experience within a regulated industry (e.g. utilities, finance, defence).</li><li>Energy/utilities experience (gas, water, power, electricity) would be highly desirable.</li><li>Broad knowledge of modern data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks).</li><li>Experience working within SAP environments/modules (e.g. S/4 HANA, RISE) would be advantageous.</li><li>Strong data modelling expertise.</li><li>Comfortable working through ambiguity and able to communicate architectural decisions at a senior level.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Own and shape the enterprise data architecture vision, strategy and maturity roadmap.</li><li>Design the end-to-end data platform, including data models, data lakes, warehouses and integrations.</li><li>Define data standards and establish a robust data governance framework, developing data quality and security standards in line with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Ensure readiness for AI/ML integration.</li><li>Evaluate emerging tools, cloud platforms and analytics technologies.</li><li>Work with external partners to establish a single version of the truth across the industry and enable secure data sharing.</li></ul>
