Network Designer - Manchester
<p><b>Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience in low level and high level design of complex network solutions</li><li>Proven experience in network design, ideally with enterprise or public sector clients</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills</li><li>Ability to gain SC Security Clearance</li><li>HPE Aruba certified to Associate level</li><li>Solid working knowledge of the following is highly advantageous:</li><li>- Aruba AOS-S Switches</li><li>- Aruba AOS-8 WLAN</li><li>- Aruba AOS-CX Switches</li><li>- Aruba AOS-10 WLAN</li><li>- Aruba Central</li><li>- Aruba ClearPass</li><li>- Aruba SD-WAN</li><li>Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies is advantageous:</li><li>- Traditional Cisco WAN</li><li>- Traditional Cisco LAN</li><li>- Cisco Wireless</li><li>- Cisco SDA</li><li>- Catalyst Centre</li><li>- Cisco ISE</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Capturing detailed customer technical requirements and translating them into technical solutions design</li><li>Management and delivery of the technical direction of the solutions design</li><li>Managing the review and validation processes for both new and in-life products and services</li><li>Managing customer solutions design engagement, statement of work creation and 3rd party deliverables</li><li>Facilitating strong customer relationships at a senior level</li><li>Customer migration planning and implementation</li><li>Resolving complex solution and service issues, leading root cause analysis and escalation</li><li>Identification of potential risks, implementing controls and mitigations</li><li>Ensuring delivery of thought leadership in complex bids and agreeing a strategic approach</li></ul>
