Infrastructure Automation Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>12 months hands-on experience (within last 3 years) in building complex Python3 automation for production systems</li><li>Experience using Ansible/Puppet/Chef for OS-level automation</li><li>Proficient in Bash scripting</li><li>Experience automating server, network, and storage deployments across multiple vendors</li><li>Familiar with troubleshooting hardware/software failures</li><li>Experience working in Agile teams</li><li>Strong Python3 capability, including workflows, DSC, and bare-metal deployment</li><li>At least one recent professional certification (e.g., CCNP, VCP, RHCA/RHCE, OCA)</li><li>Excellent communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills</li><li>Active SC clearance</li><li>Competent with Microsoft Office</li><li>Familiarity with Atlassian tools (desirable)</li><li>Experience in secure or regulated public-sector environments (desirable)</li><li>Degree in Computer Science or related field (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design, build, and validate infrastructure automation components</li><li>Reverse-engineer applications, designs, and manual processes into zero-touch automation</li><li>Develop parameterised, dynamic automation for consistent multi-environment deployment</li><li>Produce production-grade code aligned with industry and internal standards</li><li>Use Git/Bitbucket for version control, peer review, and collaboration</li><li>Create and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) artefacts</li><li>Support system testing and resolve automation-related issues with Service Management</li></ul>
