Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Minimum 3 years hands-on experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting VMware ESXi</li><li>Experience with Distributed Virtual Switches, DRS / DPM</li><li>Knowledge of VMware vSAN (Hybrid & all-flash storage)</li><li>Proficiency in VMware vCenter, including HA, clustering, cross-site resiliency</li><li>Familiarity with VMware NSX, including Micro-segmentation and cross-site deployments</li><li>Experience with VMware Horizon, AppVolumes, and AppStacks</li><li>Recent virtualisation certification (e.g., VCP)</li><li>Strong communication, analytical and critical-thinking skills</li><li>Active SC clearance</li><li>Competent with Microsoft Office</li><li>Degree in Computer Science or related field (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design, build and validate the core virtual estate for a secure, multi-site platform</li><li>Produce design artefacts and conduct system testing</li><li>Resolve complex virtualisation issues in partnership with Service Management</li><li>Support the delivery and maintenance of accredited secure solutions</li><li>Work within UK public-sector or secure government environments</li><li>Engage in Agile and Waterfall delivery methods</li><li>Assist in supporting large-scale enterprise virtualisation estates</li><li>Utilize Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation</li></ul>
