Associate Security Consultant
<p><b>Salary: £43,000 - 83,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Good understanding and demonstrable experience of security risk management within the built environment.</li><li>Experience of delivering security projects within the built environment, with experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.</li><li>Relevant degree-level qualification in security or a related built environment discipline.</li><li>Chartered member of a professional institution related to security or engineering.</li><li>Significant understanding of security risk management principles, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of current industry initiatives such as Secured by Design and security research, technology & innovation.</li><li>Experience in producing technical reports, threat and risk assessments, and operational requirements aligned with the RIBA Plan of Work stages.</li><li>Ability to engage with clients to establish clear security briefs and technology requirements.</li><li>Experience of the risk management process aligned to ISO 31000.</li><li>Ability to manage and prioritize the workload of a project team, including delegation and quality assurance of tasks and deliverables.</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.</li><li>Good understanding and experience of electronic security systems, physical security design, and security operations within the built environment.</li><li>Ability to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) before appointment.</li><li>Must be a sole UK National and willing to travel across the UK when required.</li><li>Willingness to be in the office or project site up to 3 days a week as part of our Hybrid working model.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Manage the forecasting and prioritization of resources across the security workstream.</li><li>Act as point of escalation for clients.</li><li>Act as point of escalation for Principal Security Consultants in their delivery of standalone security projects.</li><li>Lead the delivery of complex multi-disciplinary security projects.</li><li>Support the coordination of day-to-day operational delivery across the security workstream.</li><li>Oversee the accurate maintenance of project information.</li><li>Maintain situational awareness through coordination with security National Technical Authorities.</li><li>Line manage Principal Security Consultants within the core security team.</li><li>Support the continuous professional development of team members.</li><li>Contribute to business development by fostering and maintaining constructive relationships with key clients and industry partners.</li></ul>
