Orchestration Software Engineer (SC Cleared)
<p><b>Salary: £143,000 - 143,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Minimum 3+ years demonstrable industry experience with detailed knowledge of automation and development</li><li>Creating complex Python3 automation classes for production systems</li><li>Advanced Python features (Workflows, DSC concepts, Bare Metal Deployment)</li><li>Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)</li><li>Bash and PowerShell scripting for OS-level automation</li><li>REST/SOAP API integration</li><li>Automated deployment of server, network and storage technologies</li><li>Supporting large-scale infrastructure environments</li><li>Reverse engineering legacy/manual builds into zero-touch automation</li><li>Troubleshooting hardware and software component failures</li><li>Working within Agile delivery teams</li><li>Active SC clearance (mandatory)</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capability</li><li>Competent in MS Office Suite</li><li>Certifications (minimum one within last 5 years): CCNP (or equivalent networking certification), VMware VCP, RHCE/RHCA, OCA (Oracle Certified Associate) or equivalent</li><li>Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) (desirable)</li></ul>

<ul><li>Support the design, development, build and validation of infrastructure automation components forming part of the XXXX(D) platform</li><li>Develop low-level automation using Python3</li><li>Implement deployment automation using Ansible</li><li>Generate configuration and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins</li><li>Perform OS-level automation using Bash for Linux and PowerShell for Windows Server</li><li>Produce and review design artefacts</li><li>Support wider system testing activities</li><li>Work with Service Management to diagnose and resolve issues</li><li>Operate within Atlassian tools (JIRA & Confluence) for tasking and documentation</li></ul>
