Senior User Researcher
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Hands-on experience of leading user research, using behavioural and attitudinal methods appropriately</li><li>Experience across multiple phases of a product or service lifecycle, from discovery to delivery</li><li>Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards and design principles</li><li>Strong storytelling, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills</li><li>Experience working in multi-disciplinary, agile teams, influencing design through user insights</li><li>Familiarity with using prototypes to test hypotheses and validate user journeys</li><li>Understanding of a range of tools and practices for in-person and remote research</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, developers, and other User Researchers for impactful research</li><li>Lead the research for your team by suggesting appropriate methodologies to capture user insights</li><li>Plan and conduct qualitative studies, including interviews, observations, diary studies, and usability studies</li><li>Use quantitative methods, such as surveys, to identify actionable insights alongside the analytics team</li><li>Consider the end-to-end user journey and external factors impacting user experience</li><li>Communicate research findings and engage your team in analysis to enhance empathy with users</li><li>Help embed user-centred design and research best practices within teams and the wider business</li></ul>
