AI Engineer

<p><b>Salary: £60,000 - 84,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as an AI Engineer or similar role.</li><li>Hands-on experience working with AI Foundry.</li><li>Strong understanding of machine learning, model development, and deployment workflows.</li><li>Experience with data pipelines, ML Ops, or cloud-based AI tooling.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced project environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into AI use cases.</li><li>Build, deploy, and optimise AI models within AI Foundry.</li><li>Develop pipelines, workflows, and integrations needed to operationalise AI solutions.</li><li>Work closely with data teams, product teams, and technical leads to ensure successful delivery.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues and ensure models perform effectively in a production environment.</li><li>Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support the internal team throughout delivery.</li></ul>

<p>We are a university delivering a series of AI initiatives and are seeking an AI Engineer with hands-on experience in AI Foundry. This is a remote contract opportunity for approximately three months, outside of IR35, with a planned start date in early to mid-March. Join our team to play a pivotal role in the design, build, and deployment of AI use cases across our organization.</p>
