Senior Storage Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £18,600 - 18,600 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong experience with NetApp ONTAP (Clustered ONTAP)</li><li>Hands-on administration of NetApp storage systems</li><li>Experience managing aggregates, volumes, LUNs, and qtrees</li><li>Knowledge of NFS and CIFS/SMB protocols</li><li>Proficiency in configuration and support of Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs)</li><li>Experience with Snapshots and SnapMirror replication</li><li>Capability in designing and supporting enterprise storage solutions</li><li>Expertise in capacity planning and performance tuning</li><li>Familiarity with high availability configurations (HA pairs, clustering)</li><li>Experience in firmware and ONTAP upgrades</li><li>Understanding of storage migrations and data lifecycle management</li><li>Strong grasp of backup fundamentals (full, incremental, retention policies)</li><li>Knowledge of RPO and RTO objectives</li><li>Experience in disaster recovery planning and testing</li><li>Skills in data integrity validation and restore testing</li><li>Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade backup solutions, particularly Cohesity and Rubrik</li><li>Experience backing up and restoring enterprise databases</li><li>Proficiency in protecting VM-based infrastructure</li><li>Skills in image-level backups and application-consistent snapshots</li><li>Ideal candidates will hold industry certifications in NetApp</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical capability</li><li>Ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments</li><li>Clear documentation and effective communication skills</li></ul>

Our workplace operates on a hybrid model, with team members working in the office 1-2 days per week. We offer a competitive day rate of £465 via an umbrella company.
