Data Architect
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience designing enterprise-level data architectures in complex, regulated environments</li><li>Strong expertise in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical)</li><li>Experience building or modernising data platforms</li><li>Deep understanding of data governance, quality frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, BCBS239 or similar)</li><li>Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required</li><li>Confident stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Drive the data vision and design architecture aligned with enterprise principles and long-term business objectives</li><li>Define and deliver best-in-class architecture across data platforms, management, modelling, quality, and storage</li><li>Partner with IT, Data Office, business stakeholders, analysts and data science teams to translate consumer needs into scalable solutions</li><li>Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models to support analytics, APIs and advanced data use cases</li><li>Identify limitations in legacy models and design clear transition paths to target-state architecture</li><li>Establish and govern data standards, processes and guidelines to ensure robust data quality</li><li>Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies across data management and analytics</li><li>Contribute to training and upskilling initiatives across architecture and data disciplines</li></ul>

We are seeking a Data Architect to play a pivotal role in defining and delivering our data vision. This high-impact position allows you to influence long-term strategy, modernise architecture, and help shape a best-in-class data platform. Our hybrid working model is based in Solihull, requiring 3 days per week onsite.</p>
