Data Centre Solutions Architect

<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>4+ years experience in data-centre infrastructure design, preferably in hyperscale or large-scale environments</li><li>Strong background in electrical, mechanical, or data-centre operations engineering</li><li>Demonstrated experience in pre-sales or solution engineering roles for hyperscale, cloud, or public-sector clients</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio</li><li>Fluent in both German and English</li><li>Confident leader with experience guiding cross-functional teams and coordinating external partners</li><li>Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Deep understanding of critical power and cooling systems, scaling strategies, and redundancy architectures</li><li>Customer-oriented, commercially aware, and highly proactive</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead pre-sales technical engagements with hyperscalers, neo-cloud providers, and government customers</li><li>Develop tailored data-centre design solutions, including conceptual layouts and fit-out strategies</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, to produce designs aligned with customer requirements</li><li>Represent the business as a trusted advisor, breaking down complex needs into actionable design outcomes</li><li>Present technical solutions to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business, operational, and infrastructure objectives</li><li>Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams throughout the full project lifecycle</li><li>Serve as the subject-matter expert for the sales team on all data-centre infrastructure topics</li><li>Prepare and manage technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and customer design reviews</li><li>Support post-sales activities and maintain strong continuity between pre-sales and delivery</li><li>Provide valuable customer insight to internal design and operations teams, influencing future design standards and innovation</li></ul>
