Senior Moodle Developer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven hands-on Moodle development experience</li><li>Moodle plugin development (build or significant customisation)</li><li>Strong PHP development skills</li><li>REST API design and implementation experience</li><li>JavaScript, CSS and front-end development capability</li><li>Experience working with integrations across multiple systems</li><li>Linux command line familiarity</li><li>Higher Education experience is highly desirable.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Developing and maintaining custom Moodle plugins</li><li>Building and supporting deep Moodle integrations (REST APIs, LTI, data exchange)</li><li>Enhancing performance through logging, caching and clean code practices</li><li>Supporting Echo360 and related learning technologies</li><li>Providing senior-level troubleshooting (2nd/3rd line support)</li><li>Collaborating with internal developers and technical stakeholders</li><li>Contributing to continuous improvement and technical best practice</li></ul>

<p>We are a leading UK Higher Education institution looking for a Senior Moodle Developer to join our Digital Learning team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role requires you to be on site one day a week in the West Midlands. Youll work on ongoing development, integration, and optimization of a large-scale Moodle environment, and we value experience in Moodle plugin development and integrations. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £47,000 to £56,000 per annum, and we are keen to find a candidate who can start immediately.</p>
