Infrastructure Automation Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Active SC clearance (DV preferred)</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Python3 automation development</li><li>Experience with Ansible, Puppet or Chef</li><li>Scripting experience in Bash and/or PowerShell</li><li>Experience automating server, network and storage technologies</li><li>Exposure to large infrastructure environments</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability</li><li>Experience working in Agile teams</li><li>Version control experience (Git / BitBucket)</li><li>Relevant certification (e.g. CCNP, VCP, RHCE, OCA) highly desirable</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design, develop and validate automation components for secure Defence platform</li><li>Reverse engineer legacy and manual build processes into parameterised, zero-touch automation packages</li><li>Produce production-quality code</li><li>Contribute to design artefacts</li><li>Support system testing</li><li>Work within Agile teams using the Atlassian toolset</li></ul>

<p>We are a client delivering critical infrastructure automation capability across a large-scale UK Defence platform, operating within a highly secure environment. Our team is responsible for developing zero-touch, automated infrastructure solutions across complex, multi-vendor estates. We offer a day rate of up to £700, with hybrid working options based in Corsham, and provide exposure to a long-term Defence programme and modern DevOps tooling in an Agile delivery environment.</p>
