Infrastructure Engineer - Cambridge
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Linux server administration (e.g., RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)</li><li>Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure (IaaS focus; PaaS desirable)</li><li>Solid understanding of network infrastructure principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, VPNs)</li><li>Experience with infrastructure security best practices</li><li>Scripting/automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, or similar) desirable</li><li>Experience in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, and networking layers</li><li>Azure certifications (desirable)</li><li>Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.) (desirable)</li><li>Exposure to monitoring tools and backup solutions (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Manage, maintain, and support Linux server environments (build, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting)</li><li>Design, implement, and support solutions within Microsoft Azure</li><li>Administer and support cloud infrastructure including VMs, storage, networking, and security</li><li>Support hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem + cloud)</li><li>Work on network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, routing, VPNs, and VLANs</li><li>Monitor system performance, availability, and security</li><li>Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades</li><li>Provide 3rd line support and technical escalation where required</li></ul>
