IT System Administrator
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>3rd level IT qualification</li><li>3+ years of experience in a similar system administration role</li><li>Proven experience supporting server operating systems (Windows Server 2019 & above, Linux), ideally within virtual environments</li><li>Experience managing Active Directory (on-premises and Azure), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy</li><li>Proficiency in managing and administering M365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive</li><li>Experience or understanding of Application Delivery Controllers or Load Balancers (advantageous)</li><li>Strong understanding of networking principles</li><li>Experience with security tools and technologies (patch management, antivirus, firewalls)</li><li>Experience working in a cloud environment is a significant advantage</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams</li><li>Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively</li><li>Detail-oriented with a strong focus on security, compliance, and continuous improvement</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Perform daily administration of IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network infrastructure</li><li>Review health check reports, identify any issues, and troubleshoot with partners</li><li>Work with managed service partners to ensure the availability and performance of systems and key services</li><li>Assist with the deployment of Windows OS, software, and patches using Microsoft tools such as Autopilot, SCCM, and Intune</li><li>Manage M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive</li><li>Monitor service performance, troubleshoot issues, and carry out required maintenance</li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, aligning with company policies</li><li>Install and configure security software, ensuring overall compliance</li><li>Review security reports and carry out any recommended actions</li><li>Conduct system audits for technical and physical security</li><li>Escalate necessary changes to security configurations (including firewall changes) as required</li><li>Act as an escalation point for Level 1 Service Desk and the wider I.T. team</li><li>Prioritize tasks and complete them in an effective and timely manner</li></ul>

Youll work closely with our existing system administration function and collaborate with multiple partners to ensure that all IT solutions and services meet their needs.</p>
