Security Architect
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Vast experience of security concepts and technologies, including but not limited to:</li><li>Cloud & Network Security</li><li>Identity and Access Management</li><li>Windows and Linux Operating Systems</li><li>Perimeter Security</li><li>IT Risk Management with a focus on security</li><li>Solid understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization</li><li>Implementation of security solutions</li><li>Third-party auditing</li><li>Project management processes (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Be the main design authority for projects and programmes</li><li>Partner closely with internal stakeholders to realize business benefits</li><li>Own the creation of high-level architecture, key components, and interfaces</li><li>Create solutions for ITS customers that align with technical infrastructure requirements</li><li>Verify that the detailed design, interfaces, and technology align with CITO strategy</li><li>Ensure best practices for security standards are followed for all of Core Renewals projects</li><li>Engage colleagues in other areas of DDAT to verify that the proposed design fits existing/proposed infrastructure and address any non-conformance</li><li>Manage stakeholder understanding and expectations regarding the design, confirming functionality meets business needs</li><li>Direct third-party resources to develop the solution, acting as a point of clarification for complex design issues</li><li>Verify that programme/project-related knowledge is shared appropriately to drive reuse of data, processes, and technology where applicable</li></ul>

<p>We are a leading public sector infrastructure organization based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, currently seeking a Security Architect to join our team on a 2-year contract. This role offers hybrid working with an attractive day rate between £500 to £560 (Inside IR35). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on major cyber projects across the South East, contributing to the strategic vision of our team.</p>
