Power BI Architect
<p><b>Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a Power BI Architect or Lead BI Consultant in large enterprise environments</li><li>Strong expertise in Power BI (Service, Desktop, Dataflows, DAX optimisation, deployment pipelines)</li><li>Advanced data modelling experience (star schema, performance tuning, governance frameworks)</li><li>Experience working with Azure data platforms (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, Lakehouse architectures)</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement skills at senior/board level</li><li>Experience defining BI strategy and best practice in complex organisations</li><li>Retail or large consumer-facing industry experience is advantageous but not essential</li></ul>

<ul><li>Design and architect enterprise-level Power BI solutions</li><li>Define and implement BI best practices (data modelling, governance, security, performance optimisation)</li><li>Lead on semantic model design and scalable reporting frameworks</li><li>Collaborate closely with data engineering teams across Azure-based platforms</li><li>Engage senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into strategic BI solutions</li><li>Establish standards and provide technical leadership across the programme</li></ul>

<p>We are a leading global Microsoft-focused consultancy supporting a major data transformation programme for one of the UKs most recognisable retail enterprises. Our team is dedicated to shaping and leading enterprise-scale BI solutions within a complex, fast-paced environment. This is a high-visibility contract with significant impact across a large-scale data ecosystem. This opportunity is remote-first with occasional ad hoc travel to our London site as required, and we offer an initial contract of 36 months with a strong likelihood of extension.</p>
