Senior DevOps Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £125,000 - 150,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience working as a Senior DevOps Engineer or DevOps Lead, with a background in Software Engineering or Development.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services sector, specifically within large retail banking.</li><li>Expertise in technologies such as GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Rust, .NET, Java, Python, TypeScript, Gradle, Conda, and other build/deployment tools.</li><li>An expert-level understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and the surrounding ecosystem.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Educate teams on advanced DevOps principles, including DORA capabilities and modern CI/CD practices.</li><li>Assist the software development team in improving how they build and release their applications.</li><li>Support development teams in onboarding to a standardized CI/CD pipeline.</li><li>Troubleshoot technical challenges, including legacy systems, tooling migrations, and testing gaps.</li><li>Encourage sustainable practices like test automation, trunk-based development, and containerization.</li></ul>
